CMH’s mission is to actively work to bring about this vision through these functions:

Mental Health Service Provision:

      Directly providing and purchasing quality, community-based, outcome-driven services and supports, including prevention and early intervention, for and with consumers – CMH’s core function

Community Development:

Strengthening the community’s resources, commitment, and perceptions to better meet the needs of those with a mental illness, emotional disturbance, developmental disability, and/or substance use disorder.

Advocacy:

Serving as a catalyst for system and policy change at the local, state, and national levels

Health Plan Administration:

Operating a risk-based prepaid health plan in a manner that retains a focus on services to consumers

Substance Abuse Treatment Services are licensed by The Michigan Department of Consumer & Industry Services
