House of Commons (HOC)
is a 40 bed program designed to address adult men with substance abuse
dependence meeting the residential level of care criteria. HOC offers
a variable length of stay up to 90 days.
HOC believes in teaching residents strategies
for self improvement and change using a cognitive-behavioral treatment
approach with both substance abuse and criminal conduct. The
purpose of the House of Commons is to reduce the incidence of substance
use, relapse and/or criminal conduct (recidivism) for adult males
referred to our facility.
- Detoxification Program:
The Recovery Center (opened in Oct. 2010) is a Sub Acute
Clinical Detoxification for men and women. This program is for
adults over the age of 18 that need to withdraw from substances prior to
the next level of treatment care. This program is located at 810
W. Saginaw, Lansing. Contact the Recovery Center at 517-267-7623
for more information.
- Outpatient Services, Ingham & Clinton County:
The
Correctional Assessment & Treatment Services (CATS) offers
Outpatient Treatment and Case Management Services to the incarcerated in the Ingham County Jail.
The program goal is to identify and work toward recovery, related to alcohol
and drug abuse and identify the related criminal behavior.
Clinton County Counseling Center (CCCC)
provides Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment; and
Assessments for Drunk Driving and Driver's License Reinstatement. The
Clinton County Counseling Center also provides Substance Abuse Treatment Services in the Clinton County jail.
The Clinton County Counseling Center adheres to
the philosophy that substance abuse and dependence disorders are best
treated by a combination of education, individual and group therapy
based on best practice models, and promotion of participation in
self-help groups.
CMH services and
supports are provided using a process called "person-centered"
planning which recognizes your right to control the direction of your life.
We accept Medicare, Medicaid, Adult Benefit
Waiver (ABW), and private pay.
If you do not have these forms of insurance we will try to refer you where
you can receive services. For Substance Abuse services you may be assessed on a sliding fee scale based on your income.
Any charges will be made known to you prior to treatment. You will not be denied
services due to your inability to pay for those services.
