The goal of the Health Coverage Eligibility Department is to ensure that essential health care services are made available to everyone in the Tri-County area.
Our Health Coverage Eligibility Counselors are:
- Certified MDHHS MiBridges Community Partners
- Certified Application Counselors for healthcare.gov/Marketplace
- Certified Medicare Counselors
They assist one-on-one with reviewing eligibility and applying for health insurance to meet a person’s’ specific needs, while specializing in Medicaid eligibility and enrollment.
Through the MDHHS application process, you may also be eligible to obtain the following:
- Medical Assistance
- Food Assistance
- Emergency Help
- Medicare Savings Program / Part B Extra Help
- Family & Disability Cash Assistance
- Child Development & Care
